Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, paid this Tuesday, in Luanda, a visit to the Hospital Geral dos Cajueiros, in the municipality of Cazenga, to check the current state of the health institution which is currently receiving improvement works.
On a guided tour of the hospital, the Head of State learned about the operation of various services, with emphasis on the emergency department, the inpatient, maternity, pediatrics and clinical analysis laboratory areas.
João Lourenço will carry out a field trip this Tuesday morning that will also take him to visit the works of the future Institute of Legal Medicine.
According to the municipal director of Health, Caetano José Miguel, at the moment the operating room and the medicine deposit are undergoing restoration work aimed at improving working conditions, as well as expanding the structures.
