Africa-Press – Angola. The review of the statutes of the Luanda Provincial Judo Association, based on consultation and proposals presented by members at the previous meeting, will dominate the Ordinary General Assembly, on the 29th.
The grand reunion of the judo family, in Luanda, will take place in the meeting room of the Angolan Paralympic Committee, at Cidadela Desportiva. According to the document sent to our editors, prepared by the Board of the Assembly, the meeting will analyze, discuss and approve the reports and accounts for the last three years.
The preparation of the electoral process for the renewal of mandates, which should take place by the end of September, will also be analyzed by the association’s members. The electoral calendar as well as the constitution of the electoral commission itself will also occupy those present at the conclave. Rui Tavares, president of the Assembly Board, recommends in the document that it is mandatory for associated members to present themselves with duly documented documents.
“We are currently creating the administrative and logistical conditions to hold this meeting. I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to members to bring their respective credentials with them, for better organization.” The Luanda Provincial Judo Association is led by Quintino Cabral, elected in 2020.
