Africa-Press – Angola. The problem with the MPLA is the same as in Angola. This person has a name and address that everyone knows. Everything revolves around him. He owns the national assembly and the judiciary. Without him, nothing exists. He is the all-powerful god of the annoying security dictatorship.
The country is in an uproar, without understanding anything, what could be the reason that leads the president of the MPLA to feel like the owner and lord of Angola! What reasons are there under the table, hidden, that justify the MPLA feeling so afraid of UNITA and especially of its leader!
It is extremely difficult to understand and accept that the regime feels comfortable and calm in rejecting the vice-president of an African country entering the national territory!
The treatment given to the vice-president of Tanzania for around nine hours at the airport on February 4th was too violent, especially preventing him from entering Angola, even though he was carrying a valid diplomatic passport!
The shame of João Lourenço’s government does not die alone, as it is also our shame.
Well-known figures in world politics, such as the former presidents of Botswana and Colombia, the vice-president of the Republic of Tanzania and the presidential candidate of Mozambique, engineer Venâncio Mondlane, were prevented from entering Angola without any valid explanation.
These entities are part of a larger group of around 60 other members, invited to the ID-internacional conference, an international association of right-wing and center-right parties from around the globe.
The Angolan authorities did not provide any acceptable reason to the UNITA delegation, which was waiting for the guests at the airport. However, it is widely rumored that the main reason for this uncomfortable situation was the presence of Venâncio Mondlane among the guests.
To make matters worse, the regime is unable to deal calmly with the growing popularity of the UNITA leader.
Another reason, no less irritating for the regime, which in a certain way brutally prevented the conference guests from entering the country, is related to the conference being held on national territory without the stamp of the regime’s owner, which in fact does not require any authorization at all. The head of the regime feels like the owner of the country.
No one in their right mind would ever think of witnessing such a ridiculous situation. Especially coming from a president of the republic who is also the president of the African Union!
It became clear that engineer Venâncio Mondlane was barred from entering Angola, at the request of FRELIMO and its counterpart the MPLA.
This situation leads us to believe that engineers Venâncio Mondlane and Adalberto Costa Júnior are prisoners of the two Lusophone independence parties, the MPLA and FRELIMO. All we can do is continue to fight and beat them at their own game.
We are together
