Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Egypt will sign bilateral cooperation agreements in several areas in Cairo on Tuesday, the 29th. The signing of the agreements will be witnessed by President João Lourenço and his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
The Head of State, João Lourenço, arrives in Cairo tomorrow (Monday) for a two-day official visit.
“Another highlight of João Lourenço’s mission in Cairo will be a meeting on Wednesday with the Egyptian business community to assess investment prospects in both countries,” the statement reads.
Data that Online had access to indicates that since the creation of the Bilateral Commission, Angola and Egypt have signed several agreements in strategic areas such as Security and Public Order, Groundwater and in the field of Defense.
