Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, met on Thursday in the Sultanate of Oman with the company OQ to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the mining, oil and gas sectors. According to a statement consulted, this meeting was preceded by a working meeting between the companies Endiama, Sodiam and Taadeen, the new partner in Sociedade Mineira de Catoca.

Diamantino Azevedo, who led the Angolan delegation, also met with the Minister of Energy and Minerals of Oman, Salim Bin Nasser Al Aufi.

OQ is a state-owned energy and petrochemical company of the Sultanate of Oman. It operates in several sectors, including oil and gas exploration, refining, petrochemicals and energy distribution, the statement said.
