Africa-Press – Angola. Brazilian chicken and poultry by-product exports are suspended to nine destinations, following confirmation of a case of avian flu on a commercial farm in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Brazilian poultry product exports to China, the European Union, Canada, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and South Korea are temporarily suspended, according to a survey by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The list includes countries that have suspended imports of poultry products from Brazil and for which Brazil has stopped certifying exports, as provided for in the health agreement established with each country.
