Africa-Press – Angola. Angola under-16 football team face Portugal on Tuesday at the municipal stadium in Dili, in Timor-Leste, in the second round of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) Games.

Angolan coach Mario Catala assured that the team is prepared to face the opponent.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, the Angolan coach said the team is motivated after their 2-0 victory over Cabo Verde in their opening match, adding that their aim is to play a game with high levels of responsibility and control to avoid situations that favor the Portuguese team during the match.

The Angolan squad is in first place with three points, after defeating Cabo Verde 2-0, while Portugal has the same points after a 1-0 victory over host East Timor.

On the same day, East Timor face Cabo Verde in a tournament that only features four of the six participating countries.

The CPLP games involve 500 delegates from Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Cabo Verde and East Timor.
