Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço expressed his hope that political dialogue and multilateralism will be strengthened in the new cycle beginning this year.
The Head of State made the statement during the New Year’s greeting ceremony for the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Angola. The ceremony took place in the Protocol Pavilion of the Presidency of the Republic, and the President and First Lady, João and Ana Dias Lourenço, were in attendance.
During the ceremony, President Lourenço addressed the challenges and responsibilities that Angola faced in 2025, particularly regarding its rotating presidency of the African Union (AU).
