Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Cameroon will face each other on Tuesday in Yaoundé, in the first-leg match of the final qualifying round for the African Futsal Championship (AFCON 2026) in the senior men’s category, to be held from April 11th to 21st of the current year in Morocco.
This first-leg match will take place at 5 PM at the Yaoundé Sports Palace pavilion, while the second leg is scheduled to take place between the 7th and 8th of this month in Luanda.
The Angolan national team was exempt from the previous qualifying round due to its 5th position in the African ranking of the sport, with the top 10 countries being exempt, while the Cameroon team benefited from the resistance of their opponent, South Sudan.
Coached by Franklin Inácio, Angola will hold a training session this afternoon to better familiarize themselves with the field at the Yaoundé arena.
