Africa-Press – Angola. Municipal administrators, representatives of provincial and municipal offices will participate from yesterday until January 25, in the city of Cuito, Bié province, in the second training phase on New Modules of the Portal do Munícipe.

In an initiative of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Finance, during the training the participants will discuss the licensing modules for activities in the commerce, industry, transport, energy and water sectors, oil derivatives supply station and concession of rights landlords.

The coordinator of the technical group for the implementation of the financial regime for local authorities, Correia Salvador, in presenting the objectives, said that the act aims at strengthening the capacity of municipal administrations to provide services to the population.

According to him, as part of the process of transferring competences from the central administration bodies to the local state administration bodies, the executive continues to work to improve the Municipality Portal, with a view to collecting revenue.

The deputy governor for the political, social and economic sector, Alcida de Jesus Camatele Sandumbo, at the opening, informed that the training is part of the strategies of deconcentration of public administration, within the scope of local authorities.

For the person in charge, the citizen’s portal, being an available computer platform, allows the citizen to electronically process all documents under the responsibility of the municipal administrations, as well as the provision of more than 400 services for the collection of own revenues.

The action will also allow the citizen’s portal to really serve as a source of revenue, and guarantee the improvement of the social conditions of the populations, being a tool that does not allow the municipal administration to spend a long time waiting for the return of revenues in relation to basic expenses. .
