Africa-Press – Angola. – The minister of Foreign Affairs, Teté António, recognized, in Luanda, the importance of Chinese cooperation, having highlighted that this has brought about, among other benefits, the creation of jobs and cultural exchange.
The official, who was speaking during an audience he granted to the Chinese ambassador to Angola, Zhang Bin, mentioned the ongoing projects as an extra value for both nations and reiterated the country’s willingness to expand the historical and friendship ties that unite the two states.
The meeting served for the two personalities to review the current state of cooperation, focusing on economic, commercial, technical and scientific cooperation.
On the occasion, the Chinese diplomat reiterated his country’s interest in increasing investments, mainly in initiatives that promote infrastructure modernization.
He highlighted that the positive results of trade exchanges pave the way for new agreements that boost the economy and social progress of both countries.
China continues to be Angola’s largest trading partner, with a bilateral trade volume that exceeded US$23 billion in 2024.
