Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Turkey increased the trade flow, boosted by the visits carried out by the Heads of State of the two countries and agreements signed in the various sectors.

According to the Angolan ambassador to Turkey, José Patrício, the opening of the Luanda-Istanbul air route increased the circulation of people, goods and services.

The Angolan diplomat, who was speaking on the occasion of Friday’s 47th anniversary of Independence, also stressed that the two economies have much to explore and that Angola has open arms to welcome investors with economic potential “and the know-how to common development”.

“I nourish the conviction that in the complementarity of our economies we will find common ground to strengthen the bonds of friendship between our peoples and States”, he stressed in a press release sent to JÁ Onlime.

He also stressed that Angolans know the value of stability and world peace, “that’s why they voted in favor of the United Nations Charter on the matter”.

The ambassador also informed his counterparts present at the event about the efforts of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in the pacification of the countries in the region, which granted him the recognition of the African Union as the “Champion of Peace”.
