The documents were delivered by the Permanent Representative of Angola to the AU, Francisco José da Cruz, whose instruments were signed by the Head of State, João Lourenço, on 12 April of the current year, under the terms of the Constitution of the Republic.

For Ambassador Francisco José da Cruz, the ratification of these two important legal instruments linked to human rights are the expression of the Angolan Executive’s commitment to the creation of legal and material conditions to ensure the full affirmation of citizenship by all Angolans and the adoption of measures that guarantee the elimination of any type of discrimination and asymmetries.
