Africa-Press – Angola. Angola continues to consider Russia a strategic partner, said the Minister of State and Chief of the Military Household, Francisco Furtado, in Luanda on Tuesday. In a statement to the press, on the sidelines of the ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945), to be officially celebrated on 9 May, the Minister of State highlighted the strong presence of Angolan officers trained in Russia.
The event was organised by the Russian Embassy in Angola.
