Africa-Press – Angola. The Secretary of State for Mineral Resources, Jânio Victor participated from the 6th to the 8th of the current month, in the 4th German-Africa Business Forum 2022, in South Africa, in Johannesburg, on behalf of the Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo.
According to an information note yesterday, the event focuses on strengthening economic cooperation between Africa and Germany, placing greater emphasis on the supply of raw materials for the production of clean energy, from critical minerals to the production of green hydrogen.
On the sidelines of the forum, Jânio Victor held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of Germany and the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Robert Habeck, as well as with representatives of German companies operating in the mining and oil sector.
The number of participants in the event exceeds 700 delegates and is represented by more than 25 African countries.
The Secretary of State is accompanied by the National Director of Mineral Resources, Paulo Tanganha.
