Africa-Press – Angola. The state of bilateral relations between Angola and Brazil was at the center of a working meeting, between the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, and the Brazilian Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira.
According to a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent, during the meeting the two entities carried out a comprehensive analysis of the current state of bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, and reviewed relevant topics on the political-diplomatic agenda.
They also reaffirmed the excellent level of understanding and consultation between Luanda and Brasília in the most diverse international forums.

The parties highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue and strategic coordination on matters of common interest, including the promotion of peace, security and sustainable development.
The two ministers also recognized the existing potential to boost joint initiatives that contribute to the economic development of both countries, valuing the role of the private sector and financial institutions in consolidating these partnerships.
Angola and Brazil maintain deep historical ties, based on cultural and linguistic affinities and a common heritage that dates back several centuries.
These relationships of friendship and solidarity have been continually strengthened since the establishment of formal diplomatic relations in 1975, evolving into a strategic partnership marked by active cooperation in multiple areas.
