Africa-Press – Angola. Artists Mac-Verkron and Sérgio Garcia have been promoting an exhibition of clay artworks in Luanda, since Thursday (07), aiming to strengthen cultural cooperation between the countries.
The six pieces, displayed in Studio V, convey the cultural values of both peoples, as well as the colonization process of these countries.
In a statement to the press, Angolan artist Mac-Verkron emphasized that the exhibition took three weeks to prepare and was intended to contribute to the dissemination of the cultural heritage of the peoples of both countries.
Mexican artist Sérgio Garcia, for his part, said he was driven by curiosity to learn more about Angolan culture, so “together we developed works that reflect the intersection between these peoples and countries.”
