Africa-Press – Angola. The mechanisms for strengthening bilateral cooperation between the republics of Angola and Zambia were under analysis this Monday, in Lusaka, at an audience granted by the President of the National Assembly of Zambia, Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti, to the Angolan ambassador in that country , Azevedo Xavier Francisco.
According to a press release from the Angolan diplomatic representation that press had access to this Monday (27), the meeting also served for the diplomat to present farewell greetings to the President of the National Assembly of Zambia.
At the same hearing, the two entities reviewed matters related to bilateral cooperation, in the most varied domains, with a focus on deepening relations in the legislative forum.
The occasion was also used for Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti to deliver a message to her Angolan counterpart, Carolina Cerqueira.
Angola and Zambia recognize the need to increase the volume of trade and investment as a way to improve the lives of the people of both countries, the need to collaborate in solving the energy crisis that affects the region, through the reinforcement of investments by both States, in renewable energy sources such as solar, hydro, wind and geothermal.
