Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan artists Henrique Sungo and Ana Masekula presented their first joint photography exhibition on Sunday (14) at the House of Culture in London, highlighting Angola’s cultural richness.

The exhibition features 16 photographs of Angola rare images, exploring the country’s cultural identity and valuing elements linked to the recovery of traditions, the connection with the land, and ancestral roots.

According to a press release, the exhibition marks the debut of Angolan creators in the international art circuit and was attended by representatives of the UK Government.

The participation of the authorities reinforced the multicultural character of the event, which brought together members of the Angolan community and international guests.

The festive atmosphere included live music and cultural activities, creating a space for the celebration of Angolan art and culture.

The photographs were praised for the way they portray traditional narratives and for valuing national identity.

Henrique Sungo announced that the project will be taken to other countries, such as Angola, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
