Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan striker Chico Banza has penned a four-year contract with Egypt’s Zamalek of the division first football league.
According to a report in the Abola newspaper, the 26-year-old from Estrela da Amadora in Portugal will be presented to Zamalek’s members and fans in the next few days.
Last season, the Angolan international football player stood out with seven goals in 17 games for Portimonense in Portugal.
Chico Banza’s career has mostly been spent in Portugal, where he has represented Clube da Madeira, Leixões and Portimonense.
Zamalek finished third in the 2024-2025 Egyptian national league, with 47 points, and in addition to the domestic competition, they will play in the Confederation of African Clubs Cup in the 2025-2026 season.
