Africa-Press – Angola. Vice President Esperança da Costa arrived Saturday (25) in Washington D.C., USA, to participate in the annual gala o the International Conservation Caucus Foundation (ICCF), focused on Global Conservation of Biodiversity.
This is na international event that functions as a platform for the sharing of experiences on environment protection for the benefit of communities, economic growth and sustainable development.
According to the official program, Esperança da Costa will speak before an audience of about 400 guests about the progresses being made by the Republic of Angola in nature conservation and protection, as well as its biodiversity.
Before the gala, the Vice President will fulfil a work agenda that includes meetings with the Tucker Family, Angolan employees at international institutions (e.g WB, IMF), aand also attend a reception to be offered by the Angolan ambassador to the United States, Agostinho Van-Dúnem, and his wife, among other activities.
On Monday (27), Esperança da Costa is to hold a work meeting with the ICCF Executive Board. Still on the same day, the Angolan stateswoman is scheduled to meet with the administrator of the International Environmental Protection Agency, Lee Zeldin.
The event, organised annually by the ICCF, brings together US Congress members, government officials, environmental NGOs, diplomats and prominent personalities from the civil society.
The event has already distinguished personalities like President João Lourenço, King Charles III, Jeff Bezos, Rob Walton, and Prince Albert of Monaco, among others.
