Africa-Press – Angola. The Government will exempt the payment of fees to startups that intend to participate in the 3rd edition of ANGOTIC 2023 – International Forum of Information and Communication Technologies of Angola, to be held from 12 to 14 June, in Luanda.
The information by the national director of Telecommunications, Information Technologies, Matias Borges, underlining that the Government’s bet results from the intention of supporting this growing segment in the Angolan market.
“Startups will not pay anything, because the Government understands that this is a way to support startups. By sponsoring them, we will certainly have more startups and we will be able to count on more companies that will evolve in the next edition”, he reinforced.
According to the person in charge, so far, there are more than 130 startups registered, and the selection process is underway to determine the desired number.
Matias Borges added that ANGOTIC 2023 reserves for this edition, as an innovation, an investment center dedicated to startups, with investors, financiers to present credits for startups, which will look at the initiatives and see what they can sponsor.
The 3rd edition of ANGOTIC 2023 takes place at the facilities of the Talatona Convention Center, under the motto “Connectivity and Technological Modernization”.
The event will be attended by national and foreign individuals from various sectors and strata, public and private sector leaders, industry actors, emerging and fixed mobile service providers.
ANGOTIC 2023 is a global event on information and communication technologies, held and promoted by the Government of Angola, through the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication.
The event aims to promote debate around current, global and future ICT issues, share knowledge, facilitate networking for government entities, exhibitors, specialists and present innovations, as well as trends in the sector.
