Africa-Press – Angola. National Authority for Economic Inspection and Food Safety (ANIESA) Tuesday, in Luanda, will present a manual on good food safety practices, aiming to contribute to the improvement of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial establishments.
The work contains general principles, requirements, procedures and responsibilities governing information on foodstuffs and their labeling in particular. The manual offers instructions to be taken into account by economic agents and food handlers, in addition to providing the reader with an acquaintance with the requirements of technical standards and legislation on Food Safety.
The book also contains technical, sanitary and phytosanitary standards that contribute to the improvement of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial establishments, raising the quality of goods available to consumers, especially foodstuffs, with the aim of preventing contamination.
ANIESA, a body supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, informs that the manual will be distributed free of charge, throughout the national territory, in order to give good practices to all stakeholders (consumers and producers).
