Africa-Press – Angola. The Angola Cargo and Logistics Certification Regulatory Agency (ARCCLA) and the Brazilian company “Infra SA” signed a memorandum of understanding on good practices in supervision, regulation and inspection in the field of logistics, development and concession of infrastructures supporting multimodal logistics activity.

The memorandum also provides for the exchange of experiences and knowledge in studies and long-term logistical planning.

According to a press release, the protocol, which is the culmination of several working meetings between the agencies, was initialed this Tuesday, 17th, by the president of the ARCCLA Board of Directors, Catarino Fontes Pereira, and the CEO of Infra, Jorge Bastos.

For Catarino Fontes Pereira, the memorandum constitutes added value and will greatly contribute to improving the performance of the Agency he heads.

For his part, Jorge Bastos expressed satisfaction with the understanding between the parties and said that with this gesture begins a new era in relations between the two entities.

The ceremony was witnessed by officials from the Angolan Ministry of Transport, Brazilian entities and diplomats from the Angolan Embassy in Brazil.
