Africa-Press – Angola. The Argentine ambassador to Angola, Alejandro Verdiel, assured, this Monday, in the city of Lobito, Benguela province, the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
The diplomat, who was speaking to the press, during a visit to the local Porto pointed out that cooperation should extend not only from a commercial point of view, but also at a political and cultural level.
From the point of view of the Argentine diplomat, the Lobito Corridor plays an important role in connection with South America and Angola’s neighboring countries by sea.
“I have heard a lot about the Lobito Corridor, which is why I came to see how the magnitude of this interconnection between the Benguela Railway (CFB) and Porto works”, stressed ambassador Alejandro Verdiel.
Due to all these factors, the Argentine ambassador in Angola is convinced that it is imperative to strengthen relations between the two States. “My visit to Lobito is further proof that things are progressing very well”, he concluded.
