Africa-Press – Angola. The Association for the Defence of Health in Angola (ADSA) has been promoting the first edition of the reading and crafts fair in Luanda since this Monday, to encourage a taste for reading and the creation of small businesses.

According to the ADSA coordinator, Nelson Paulo, the fair, which runs until the 20th at the African League, aims to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs and create opportunities to engage with cultural interests, as well as to allow the exhibition of artistic products and is part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of National Independence.

The fair, he said, will feature over 50 works by various national and foreign writers, mostly on the subjects of pedagogy, languages, mathematics, medicine, small business management, among others.

“We bring together reading and crafts to encourage a taste for reading and youth entrepreneurship”, he stressed.

According to the coordinator, events of this kind are channels for exchanging experiences and opportunities for presenting innovative services and creations.

The coordinator also highlighted that the association has implemented several projects, with emphasis on the Family Fund for Education and Employment, which aims to finance access to training and job opportunities, and the Training of Trainers, in the areas of soap and fishmeal production, which starts on the 15th of this month.
