Africa-Press – Angola. The Central Regional Director of the National Bank of Angola (BNA), Rosalina Lopes Lima, assured, this Monday, the institution’s engagement in reinforcing cultural values on education and financial inclusion of the population.
The person responsible was speaking at the opening session of the “Global Money Week”, coordinated by the Organization for Cooperation for Economic Development (OECD), which takes place annually to raise awareness among young people in financial literacy practices, aiming for management and savings. responsible.
On the occasion, he said that the “Global Money Week”, lasting six days, covers financial institutions, representatives of civil society, students and teachers, public and private organizations, to boost knowledge about financial literacy.
He explained that the BNA wants, with this process, to contribute to improving the population’s financial outlook, so that it is possible to carry out responsible monetary expenditure and management focused on the ability to overcome possible economic crises, through correct entrepreneurial initiatives.
On this journey, the BNA will address topics related to personal and family budgets, financial inclusion, relationship with money, investment, insurance, mobile payments and taxes.
This is the 12th edition of “Global Money Week”.
