Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan Bruno Fernando will remain with the Toronto Raptors and will sign a contract as soon as the new NBA season begins, reinforcing his stay with the team until 2025.
The Angolan center had signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Canadian community that was only valid for the training camp.
According to Inside Euroleague, the decision to stay was made after the player’s performance during the training phase, where he demonstrated value and ability to contribute to the squad.
After the end of his contract with the Atlanta Hawks, Bruno Fernando was strongly associated with Fenerbahce Beko, one of the biggest clubs in Europe and a regular participant in the Euroleague.
Bruno Fernando, 26 years old, 2.08 m, appears on the official list of his new club as a pivot alongside other members of the same position, such as local Christopher “Chris” 2.06 and 31 years old.
In total, the group currently has 24 members, of which six are pivots.
