A delegation from the MPLA has been participating in the Middle East and Africa Cybersecurity Conference in Dubai since Monday, with the aim of deepening knowledge and identifying the best technological solutions to guarantee the party’s digital protection, in its ongoing process of modernization and digitalization. The delegation from the “Camaradas” party, headed by the secretary of the Political Bureau for Information and Communication Technologies, Pedro Teta, also includes the head of the Division of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies (DTIC), Mauro Reis, and the member of the Central Committee, Nelson Funete.During the event, which brings together experts, industry leaders, companies and authorities from around the world, the MPLA delegation has maintained an intense agenda of meetings with manufacturers, suppliers and international consultants, exploring topics such as the protection of sensitive data, defense against cyber attacks, artificial intelligence applied to security, network infrastructure and innovative solutions for digital party administration.
In statements to the party’s website, Pedro Teta stressed that “the MPLA’s presence at GISEC GLOBAL reflects a strategic commitment to modernizing its systems, reinforcing digital resilience, and following the best international cybersecurity practices”.
