Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda can open the champagne in the next round, in case of victory against 1.° de Agosto, as it is three points away from revalidation of the title of the biggest national football competition, known as Girabola. The mathematical probabilities give real conditions for the oil workers to celebrate the 19th trophy of the National Championship of the First Division, in case of victory against the red-black team, and also whether or not Wiliete de Benguela wins, so Petro will maintain the six (6) point advantage.

With this, there will be only two rounds left to play, which represent six points up for grabs, even if the tricolor team loses the last two matches, and the green and whites from the lands of Ombaka win both, in the same condition, the title will go to Catetão, although with the same points, given the superiority in the direct confrontation, this being the first tiebreaker.

The team currently led by Flávio Amado also has a clear chance of celebrating next weekend, even if they don’t win (draw and/or lose), if this is also the result of the match between Académica do Lobito and Wiliete Sport Clube.

Petro found themselves with some comfort after the defeat of their main rival, Wiliete, who faltered in the trip to the city of Saurimo, as a result of the 1-0 defeat at Desportivo da Lunda-Sul. In turn, the defending champions returned to winning ways, beating Académica do Lobito by 3-0, in Flávio Amado’s debut as head coach of the team, a match that was part of round 27 of the Girabola.

Although the 1st of August is not expected to be the theme of the rival’s party, the Angolan football classic, scheduled for next Saturday, at 4pm, on the 11th of November, between the military and the oil workers, promises to stir the emotions of fans with the two teams focused on opposing objectives.
