The prices of basic food basket products from the first to second week of the month December saw, in general terms, an increase of 1.20 percent. On the other hand, there was a price reduction in iodized common salt products with 2.20 percent, chicken thigh with 0.59 percent and tomato with 0.43 percent. The prices of basic food basket products in informal markets from the first to second week of December registered an increase of 1.04 percent. Products with biggest price increases were beans with 12.19 percent, wheat flour with 5.08 percent and mackerel fish with 3.21 percent.
