Africa-Press – Angola. Two national citizens, between 24 and 28 years old, were detained, Tuesday, by the National Police, suspected of vandalizing the Registration Store in the municipality of Londuimbali, province of Huambo.
In a press release, the National Police states that they are individuals involved in the crime of stealing and receiving electronic equipment from the Registration Store in the commune of Alto-Hama, municipality of Londuimbali.
The arrest, according to the document, resulted from a micro-operation carried out in the Capango neighborhood, Avenida 21o Aniversário da Independência (formerly Rua 5 de Outubro) and Rua Mariano Machado, in the municipality of Huambo, which culminated in the seizure of two computers laptops and an equal number of cameras.
He adds that those involved will be presented to the competent magistrate for further legal procedures that are necessary, while the funds will be returned to the Justice and Human Rights sector in the municipality of Londuimbali.
The municipality of Londuimbali, whose municipal town is 97 kilometers from the city of Huambo, has an estimated population of 134 thousand 801 inhabitants, distributed across the municipalities of Alto-Hama, Cumbira, Galanga, Sede and Ussoque, according to recent data from the National Statistics Institute (INE).
