Africa-Press – Angola. Citizens in the towns of Pamba da Cmuhala, Peso, Hala, Heleje, Cabale and Bondo -Capopo, municipality of Lucala (Cuanza Norte), asked the government to reinforce investments in basic social services, to improve the quality of life in population in these communities.
Citizens requested more investments in the education and health sectors, the reinforcement of the supply of drinking water and electricity, as well as the improvement of access roads.
The citizens who spoke Wednesday at a consultation meeting with the municipal administrator of Lucala, Maria Mafuta, also asked for the installation of mills and support for agricultural mechanization.
Young people defended even greater attention to the promotion of sport, to occupy their free time.
The administrator assured the population that the local government is working towards an immediate solution to the social problems in the communities.
The visit was part of the Municipal Administration’s proximity governance programme.
