Africa-Press – Angola. The National Electoral Commission (CNE) already has summary minutes of polling stations. The information was released this Sunday, in Luanda, by the spokesman, Lucas Quilundo.
According to the CNE spokesperson, who was speaking to the press this evening, the process of definitive tabulation of the results of the elections is preceded by preliminary operations and “are not limited to a mere global sum of the results of the minutes”.
Lucas Quilundo clarified that the tabulation process (scrutiny) involves a careful and detailed assessment that has to do with the certification of the codification of the minutes, so that they are in accordance with the standardization of the system.
“What is taking place are these preliminary operations that will allow the plenary, after meeting, to proceed with the approval of the definitive results that will be included in the minutes of the national tabulation”, added the CNE spokesman.
At this moment, the work of the technical group of the national scrutiny is still ongoing, which is analyzing all the minutes containing incidents.
