Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial commander of the National Police in Uíge, commissioner Monteiro dos Santos, Friday, called on the staff of the Personal Security Unit and Protocol Entities (PSPEP) to increasingly improve their techniques, tactics and methods of action , for the best exercise of its activity.

Monteiro dos Santos, who was speaking at the provincial act that marked the 30th anniversary of the existence of the PSPEP, defended the need for the permanent commitment of the staff to academic and technical-professional training.

“The changes taking place in the various sectors of the State apparatus oblige us to increasingly improve our methods of action”, exhorted the official commissioner.

He recalled that, despite the difficulties of material and human resources, the PSPEP staff in Uíge has fulfilled its task with dedication, commitment, creativity and spirit of mission.

On the occasion, the provincial commander of the PN exhorted the staff of that police unit to be guided by discipline, professionalism, a sense of responsibility and respect for the fundamental rights of citizens.

In turn, the commander of the Personal Security Unit and Protocol Entities in Uíge, chief superintendent, José Wele, highlighted the continuous training of the unit’s staff, a fact that has contributed to the improvement of methods, tactics of action, both in security personal as well as public order.
