On Tuesday, during the 1st Extraordinary Session held in the city of Luena, the MPLA in Moxico province analysed political and social life, with a view to strengthening party activity and medical and drug assistance services for the population. In the social chapter, the meeting assessed the health situation in the province and the measures being adopted to strengthen the capacity to intervene in the face of current epidemiological challenges.
During the meeting, chaired by the first secretary of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, the following issues were discussed and analysed: strengthening the number of new members and boosting party activities in various grassroots structures.
In the party activities plan, participants discussed the functioning of the Discipline, Ethics and Audit Committee, asking members for greater rigor and responsibility, especially with regard to the party’s readjusted budget for 2025, aligned with the strategic objectives defined by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee.First Secretary Ernesto Muangala also assured that the party’s growth plan for the current year is included in the conclusions of the founding conferences, aiming to increase the party’s membership base and strengthen its presence in the province.
“We will evaluate the training programme for leaders, managers and middle management as an essential tool for qualification, cohesion, ethics and leadership skills”, said Muangala.
