Africa-Press – Angola. The acting president of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), the Angolan statesman João Lourenço, highlighted, this morning, in Lisbon, the good performance of the organization’s Executive Secretariat in this first year of the Angolan mandate.
João Lourenço, who was speaking to the press at the end of his visit to the CPLP headquarters, said that everything will be done to make the organization stronger and more cohesive.
The President of the Republic arrived in Lisbon, the city where he participates, together with dozens of other Heads of State and Government, in the II Ocean Conference, organized by the United Nations.
In this mission, President João Lourenço is accompanied by an Angolan delegation that includes the Minister of State for Area, Social, Carolina Cerqueira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, Secretaries of State for the Environment, Fisheries, among other members of the Executive.
