Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial governor of Cuanza-Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, reiterated this Tuesday in Ndalatando that the government treats all political parties equally.

He was speaking during an audience he granted to the leader of PRA JÁ – Servir Angola, Abel Chivukuvuku, who is undertaking a four-day visit to the province.

According to João Diogo Gaspar, the government has been working to support political parties so they can develop their workspace, aiming to strengthen democracy.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive dialogue and openness to interaction with opposition parties, including PRA JÁ – Servir Angola, on all matters relating to the province’s development.

“We are not enemies, we are brothers. Sometimes, people think that doing politics means creating enmity or not talking to each other. We can disagree, yes, and it’s normal to disagree, but we cannot enter into an environment of litigation. We have to dialogue,” he stressed.Abel Chivukuvuku reinforced the need to maintain dialogue among Angolans, regardless of party affiliation.

He stated that it is important for everyone to contribute to the good of the country, because when the government does things well, everyone wins, and if it does things poorly, everyone loses.

Finally, he requested a positive and fruitful interaction between the governor and the local secretary of PRA JÁ – Servir Angola.

During his stay in Cuanza-Norte, Abel Chivukuvuku will assess the socio-economic situation of the region and the functioning of his party’s local structures.

In addition to Cazengo (the capital of Cuanza-Norte), the PRA Já – Servir Angola leader’s program also includes visits to the municipalities of Massangano and Ambaca, where he will hold meetings with party members, members of civil society, and religious entities.
