Africa-Press – Angola. Three hundred candidates are confirmed for the first edition of the culture and art prize in Lunda Sul province, said Monday the provincial director for Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, Salvador Wanuque.
The award recognizes the actions of young people in the fields of the country’s culture, in particular in Lunda Sul, in the categories of Literature, Visual Arts, Theatre, Dance, Music, Event Promotion, DJs, and Scientific Research.
Speaking to the press, the official said that registrations are now closed and the process of selecting candidates for the next stage is underway.
The winners will be announced on the 4th of July, the anniversary of the province of Lunda Sul, and will receive a prize of one million kwanzas in each category, a statue and a diploma.
