Africa-Press – Angola. 1° de Agosto B beat Inter B this Sunday, by 71-40, in the game of the fifth round of the National Senior Women’s Basketball Championship (Liga Azule).
In the match, played at the Vitorino Cunha pavilion, the “military” left at halftime at a disadvantage of one point (25-26).
Arminda Sindalawa, from 1.o de Agosto, was the best scorer in the match, with 16 points, followed by Valeriana Moxi, from Inter B, with 15.
In the other meeting, the Labomba team defeated Académica de Malanje, by 82-27, Sport Lubango e Benfica lost to Formigas do Cazenga, by 30-92, and Inter de Benguela beat Jesus Cristo Basketball, by 48- 45.
Saturday, for the same round (5th), 1° de Agosto defeated Maculusso, by 84-52.
