Africa-Press – Angola. Hundreds of children are benefiting, since this Wednesday, in Luena, from Birth Records and Identity Cards (BI), within the framework of a massification fair of these documents, promoted by the provincial Delegation of Justice and Human Rights in Moxico.

This fair, which takes place in the 1o de Maio garden, is part of the celebrations of the 4th of April, Day of Peace and National Reconciliation and aims to bring these services closer to the citizen.

The head of the Department of Statistics and Heritage of the Provincial Delegation of Justice, Domingos Caumba, said that in this campaign it is intended to register more than five hundred children in a period of seven days.

According to the official, the birth registration will cover children from zero to 13 years old, while the identity card will benefit all ages.

He appealed to parents and guardians to join these services massively, in order to achieve citizenship rights.
