Africa-Press – Angola. The coordinator of the Provincial Nucleus of the National Assembly in Bengo, João Mpilamosi Domingos, Wednesday, encouraged the municipal administration of Ambriz to prioritize work to improve the supply of water and electricity.
The parliamentarian made this appeal at the end of a visit by deputies from Bengo, who were assessing the levels of execution of social impact projects in the municipality of Ambriz and listening to the problems of the local population.
João Mpilamosi Domingos said that the citizens of Ambriz presented as main concerns the supply of water, energy, primary health care, education and the poor condition of the roads.
He appealed to the municipal administration of Ambriz to publicize more what it has been doing, for the knowledge of the population.
He stressed that municipal administrations receive 25 million Kwanzas, within the scope of the balance fund, plus three million for school lunches.
He said, on the other hand, that it is necessary to mobilize joint efforts to attract investments that can enhance the valences that Ambriz has, aiming at its development.
The municipal administrator of Ambriz, Anastácia de Vasconcelos, informed that the municipality has 13 PIIM projects, of which five have already been concluded, four are in execution and four are yet to start.
He appealed to citizens to support the government’s initiatives for the implementation of projects aimed at the development of the municipality.
