Desportivo da Lunda Sul (11th, with 15 points) and their counterparts from Huíla (7th, with 17 points) will face each other this Wednesday, at 3:00 pm, in a continuation game of the 14th round of the First Division National Football Championship division (Girabola2022/23), at the Mangueiras stadium.
In the last two clashes between them, the team from Lunda Sul was superior, imposing a tie to a ball, in the Tundavala field, in a match of the 11th round, after beating the opponent, by 2-1, in Mangueiras, for 26th of the Transact Girabola.
The team from Lunda Sul beat Dragão do Uíge, by 1-0, in the previous round, while Desportivo da Huíla drew (1-1) with Santa Rita de Cássia do Uige.
The day, which opened with Petro de Luanda’s victory over Interclube, by 2-1, on the 2nd of November last, still reserves the interesting duel that opposes, Saturday (3.30 pm), 1o de Agosto (5th, with 23 pts ) and the second placed Wiliete (2nd, with 30 pts), on the 22nd of June, in the capital of the country.
In this match, the “military” are prohibited from losing, to avoid distancing themselves in the league table from the other opponents in front, such as Sagrada Esperança (3rd, with 27 pts), who plays, Thursday, against Académica do Lobito ( 6th, with 17), in the field of Buraco.
