Africa-Press – Angola. The main difficulties in the functioning of the Support Office for the deputies of the Provincial Circle of Uíge were presented this Wednesday to the president of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly, Suzana Augusto Melo.
Insufficient staff, funds for the maintenance of facilities, travel allowances and current expenses were some of the concerns raised by Suzana Melo during a fact-finding visit, during which she received detailed explanations about the functioning of that Office.
Meanwhile, in statements to the press, the president of the Board of Directors of the National Assembly said that the facilities are well maintained and with accommodation conditions for the five deputies of the provincial circle.
Suzana Melo also held a courtesy meeting with the governor of Uíge province, José Carvalho da Rocha.
The Support Office for the Provincial Circle of Deputies of Uíge has been operating since 2015.
