Africa-Press – Angola. The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, is in Luanda to participate in the 7th African Union (AU)-European Union (EU) Summit, which begins on Monday (24).
Upon his arrival in Luanda, he was received by Angolan minister of the Interior, Manuel Homem.
Dick Schoof will join, over the next two days, other Heads of State and Government from Africa and Europe to establish the basis for strengthening cooperation between the two continental blocks.
The 7th AU-EU Summit to be held under the motto “Promoting Peace and Prosperity Through Effective Multilateralism”, will be co-chaired by the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, in his capacity as President Pro Tempore of the African Union, and by the President of the European Council, António Costa.
