Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan government is adopting measures based on Angola’s economic and social reality, taking into account the well-being of the population, said Luís Nunes, the first provincial secretary of the MPLA party, this Saturday in Luanda.
According to Luís Nunes, who was speaking at the mass political rally in support of President João Lourenço, the reforms implemented by the government are achieving courageous and necessary economic independence.
He added that the administrative reforms aim to bring the State closer to its citizens, ensuring that no one is left behind, as well as seeking sustainable and lasting solutions to truly address their concerns.
In his view, governing is about confronting and having the courage to tackle major problems until they are resolved. He urged the population to believe in the ongoing economic and administrative measures, as they better serve the country’s conditions.
He reminded them that a country cannot be built with false and populist measures, as this risks jeopardizing the future.
In this sense, he stated that development does not depend exclusively on the government, but on each and every Angolan.
Luís Nunes announced the upcoming rehabilitation of the streets of the Viana Cemetery, the Nova Vida Urbanization, and the completion of the Suave road in Viana.
The political event was preceded by a march in support of the leader.
