Africa-Press – Angola. The Executive will build urbanizations with homes at affordable prices for the low-income population, to reduce, on a large scale, the housing infrastructure deficit, within four years.
According to the Government Portal, this action is part of the National Development Plan 2023-2027, approved by Presidential Decree no 225/23 of 30 November.
The Executive’s objective is to quickly build, and on a large scale, a series of new centralities in urban and rural areas and respective infrastructures for the relocation of vulnerable populations in areas of environmental risk and in informal settlements, using public-private partnerships. .
In addition, the authorities will carry out a program to complete the IT platform for managing and controlling the State’s housing assets, for the sale and rental of properties.
