Africa-Press – Angola. The participants of the 5th Edition of Expo-Indústria/2023, held from March 29 to April 1, in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE), consider the participation in the event, which brought together more than 238 companies, to be positive.

The representative of the detergent company “Nice South Atlantico, Lda”, Mário Simão, said that participation in the event was “super positive”, taking into account the interaction with exhibitors and visitors during the four days of the exhibition. .

Mário Simão declared that his company presented two brands, “Fasclean” and “Diao”, a powdered detergent with lemon and fresh fragrance, with the effect of controlling bacterial growth and the product with an active formula for removing stains.

The company, which currently has an annual production capacity of around 40,000 tonnes, presented two powder detergent brands. “The interaction is being good, being the second participation, we are having many contacts with customers”, he stressed.

The Deputy Commercial Director of the company SLN – FCCB, SA, Kolbe Sampaio, said that they received many visits, and makes a balance that he considers “super positive. Expo-indústria came to galvanize more and give light to other national industries”.

He mentioned that they brought a wide range of products related to civil construction.

“Our factory produces plasterboard, plasterboard, profiles, finishing boards. We have a capacity of 20 million boards/year, serving to supply the local market, with the possibility of selling our products to other countries in Africa”, he assured.

The Trade Marketing director of the IMEX Group, Sara Joaquim, highlights the fact that in 20 years of existence and five years of Expo-Indústria it is the first time that it was the big winner, at a time when it presented the line of Beko electrical appliances.

“The group brought exposure of our national industry, with everything we did, in addition to having the raffia bags, as well as the bag factory for packaging, mattresses and paints”, he highlighted.

“It’s the first time we’ve won the grand prize at the expo. The balance is positive. We made an investment to increase our production”, she emphasized.

The businessman stated that the group is doing well in terms of raw material, “We have a good number of products that we can buy. We have several items that we were able to buy locally.”

Advisor to the general manager of Full Bliss Angolana Company. Lda, Alves Xian, highlighted that they participated in the fair with a focus on the exchange of partnerships, having made many contacts.

“Our products are very important for the business sector or the final consumer. We currently have several products. We produce, annually, 10 thousand tons of bags and 100 tons for the insert, as we are in a start-up phase”, he stressed.

The managing director of Sika Angola, Ricardo Rocha, referred that they presented, at the event, the chemical products industry for the civil construction sector, with products of local production.

“ We have been producing in Angola for around 13 years and for the expo we are once again bringing our products, including additives for concrete. The installed production capacity is being used around 20%,” he stressed.

The 5th Edition of Expo-Indústria/2023, which took place from March 29 to April 1, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo, returned after registering a three-year interregnum in 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 19, with the participation of 200.
