Africa-Press – Angola. The commander of the North Military Region, Lieutenant General David Manuel Cavanda, defended, in the city of Uíge, a permanent preparation of the military, in order to respond to the demands of the present and the future.
At the opening of the Second Period of Operational, Combative and Educational-Patriotic Preparation of the Year of Instruction 2022/23, the official urged the military to redouble the security and combative surveillance system, so that order and tranquility are maintained in the North Region.
The general officer, highlighted the importance of observing the laws and regulations in force in the country and in the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
On the other hand, David Manuel Cavanda spoke of the bet on improving sporting, cultural and other activities, with a view to increasing the physical and mental capacity of the Angolan Armed Forces.
The period of operative and combative preparation comprises combative preparation classes, patriotic days, lectures on legal education, recreational and cultural activities, among others.
The opening of the activity, last Thursday, 1 September, in the province, was attended by general officers, superiors, sergeants and soldiers from the Angolan Armed Forces.
