Organized by the literary movement Lev’arte, this edition of FESPOL takes place under the motto “Agostinho Neto – Poeta da Liberdade”, and promotes various activities such as concerts, recitations, conferences, children’s festival, theater and exhibitions.
According to the organization, the objective of FESPOL is to awaken the taste and interest in reading, in particular poetry; develop the art of declamation, train and inspire new writers to internationalize the festival, fostering cultural exchange. The last edition, held in 2019, paid tribute to musician Ruy Mingas and writer Manuel Rui Monteiro.
